Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
What is Keepaza?expand_more
Keepaza is a payment identity platform that lets you create a simple, human-readable username — like @yourname — that maps to your verified bank account and cryptocurrency wallet addresses. Instead of sharing long account numbers or wallet addresses in WhatsApp chats, you share one clean link. Anyone can visit your link to see your verified payment details and pay you directly.
How do I create my Keepaza account?expand_more
Click "Sign Up Free" on the homepage. Enter your phone number or email, set your password, choose your unique username, then link your bank account or crypto wallet. The whole process takes under 60 seconds. Once done, your payment profile at keepaza.com/@yourusername is immediately live and shareable.
Is Keepaza free to use?expand_more
Yes. Keepaza's core features — creating a payment profile, sharing your username, generating invoices, and uploading receipts — are completely free. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, which will always be clearly disclosed before any charge.
Can I change my username after registering?expand_more
Yes, you can update your username from the "Update Address" section in your dashboard. Please note that changing your username will break any previously shared profile links. We recommend sharing a new link to all your regular clients after making a change.
Invoices
How do I create an invoice?expand_more
From your dashboard, tap "Invoices" then "Create Invoice." Enter the client's name, what the payment is for, the amount, and an optional due date. Tap "Generate Invoice Link." Share the link with your client via WhatsApp, email, or any channel. Your verified bank and crypto details are automatically included on the invoice page.
How does the client pay after viewing an invoice?expand_more
The client opens your invoice link, copies your bank account number or crypto wallet address, and makes the payment directly using their own banking app or crypto wallet. Keepaza does not process or hold any payments — all transfers happen directly between you and your client through their own banking or crypto channels.
How does the client confirm they've paid?expand_more
Your invoice page has an "Upload Payment Receipt" section. After paying, the client uploads a screenshot or PDF of their payment confirmation. You will receive an instant notification. You can view all uploaded receipts in your "Receipts" dashboard.
A client says they paid but I haven't received the money. What do I do?expand_more
Ask the client to upload their payment receipt on the invoice page. Compare the account number on their receipt with your linked account. If the details match and the receipt appears genuine but the money hasn't arrived, contact your bank directly. Keepaza is not a payment processor and cannot investigate bank transactions.
Can I invoice in USD or other currencies?expand_more
Yes. When creating an invoice, you can select the currency — including NGN, USD, USDT, and others. The currency shown on the invoice is for display purposes only; actual payment is made through the client's chosen payment method.
Crypto & Wallets
Which crypto networks does Keepaza support?expand_more
Keepaza currently supports TRC20 (Tron/USDT), ERC20 (Ethereum), BEP20 (Binance Smart Chain), BTC (Bitcoin), and SOL (Solana). We validate address formats automatically. You can link multiple addresses across different networks on a single profile.
I linked the wrong wallet address. How do I fix it?expand_more
Go to "Update Address" in your dashboard and edit your crypto wallet details. Update the address and save. The new address will appear on your profile immediately. Always double-check your address after updating — cryptocurrency sent to a wrong address is permanently lost and cannot be recovered.
How does the crypto swap feature work?expand_more
The swap widget is provided by a third-party swap service (such as ChangeNOW). It allows visitors to your profile to swap their existing crypto into the currency you accept — without leaving your Keepaza page. The swap is executed entirely by the third-party provider. Keepaza does not hold or process any crypto during swaps.
Someone sent crypto to my Keepaza profile but I didn't receive it. What should I do?expand_more
Keepaza does not hold or custody cryptocurrency. If someone sent crypto and you haven't received it in your wallet, check the blockchain explorer for the relevant network using your wallet address. Common issues include: wrong network selected by sender, insufficient network fees, or address format mismatch. Contact the sender to confirm the exact details of the transaction.
Bank Accounts
Which Nigerian banks are supported?expand_more
All Nigerian banks with a valid NUBAN account number are supported, including GTBank, Access Bank, Zenith Bank, UBA, First Bank, Moniepoint, Kuda, OPay, PalmPay, Wema, Sterling, and others. Account name is verified automatically at the time of linking.
Is my full account number visible to everyone?expand_more
Yes. When someone visits your Keepaza profile or invoice link, your full bank account number and bank name are displayed so they can make a payment. This is the core purpose of the Platform. Do not link an account you do not want visible for payment purposes. You can remove your bank account from your profile at any time from your dashboard.
My bank account verification failed. What should I do?expand_more
Ensure the account number (10 digits) and bank name are entered correctly. Account verification is done in real-time via our payment infrastructure partner. If verification continues to fail, try a different browser or contact support at info@keepaza.com with your account details (excluding your password).
Account & Security
How do I delete my account?expand_more
Send an account deletion request to info@keepaza.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days. Note that invoice records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Nigerian business law, even after account deletion.
